Kenwood subs question?

I got two Kenwood KFC-W3012 subs. I currently have a KAC-5204 amp powering the subs. Only 350 watts and it's just not loud enough. I want to push at least 1000 through it but idk if that's too much for my subs to handle because I don't know the RMS and I don't know what type of amp I should get. The amp is currently bridged. I should get another 2 channel amp right? And I'm thinking about an 800-1200 watt amp. If someone could shed a little light and help me out I'd really appreciate it.
