Neil Patrick Harris & his Partner have Half-Sibling Twins?

Is this true? From my understanding they took their sperm and fertilized to eggs from the same donor and implanted them in a surrogate. Both eggs took and so now they are half sibling twins...or are they just half siblings? Technology is crazy ha ha.
