My partner can't have a baby and now I am going to for us?

Hello, Me and my partner have been down this road as we both wanted to become carry our children so it was a mutual and non-jealous type of thing. she was able to become pregnant but unable to carry it was a devastating situation. Just remind her that the child belongs to both of you so she is still a mother regardless which one of you carry.Is this going to solve everything? No. Make sure she is there every step of the way for the child and made to feel as just as much importance. Each doctor visit make sure she has a part of it.. make the comments "Look at OUR child" "WE are so lucky." It's important for them to feel as much of a part of the pregnancy and raising the child as you. In a lot of states same sex couples are allowed to sign as both mother and father. In our case she filled her name in under father because the one carrying is automatically listed as mother obviously. It will be tough I promise you. There will be moments where she feels inadequate but in any relationship it's the partners job to make their partner feel comfortable and important. Good luck ladies.
