I have a 1988 Toyota pickup 4 cyl auto. I also have a 88 manual tranny from a 6 cyl. Can they be swapped?

The automatic transmission went out in my truck and i bought a donor truck that has a manual transmission with it's 6 cyl engine. Could i take out the Manual tranny and put it in my other truck that had the auto tranny? Both are 1988 Toyota pickups.
